We have several exciting product updates to share with you ahead of our February 2016 release! All the changes detailed below are targeted to be released on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.

NetCare RMM

Scripting Template Updates

Script templates will now be named using the application the script is for, and the description will include the list of actions and the platforms that the script works on. This is designed to help eliminate confusion and make it easier to find the template.

NetCare Continuity

Output to VMDK (Cloud Only)

You can now export cloud images to VMDK format, allowing us to export Virtual Machines (VMs) that are larger than 2TB and helping save time by not having to manually convert the OVA output to VDMK when using VMWare or Virtual Box. This does not apply to Microsoft Hyper-V.

Lower Bandwidth Throttling Minimum

We’re lowering the minimum value on the bandwidth throttling slider in Server Backup Manager from 512 kbps to 64 kbps. This allows for greater flexibility when setting offsite sync speeds, and enables us to adjust bandwidth in order to free up necessary network resources during client business hours or other important time frames.

NetCare Vault

"Not Current" Backup Status

We’ve added an orange Backup Status icon for Vault agents to indicate when the most recent backup date is more than three days old. This is designed to provide us with greater visibility into potential backup issues, and at a quick glance can show which backups may require some attention.

NetCare Reporting

New Ticket Summary Report (Beta)

A new ticket summary report will provide ticketing details for all sites and resources within the last three months. The report is designed to help us analyze and counteract trends in ticket escalation, support involvement and other ticket behavior, and to help us better demonstrate the value of our services to you. The report will be accessible in both the Reports and Tickets tabs.
